Peer reviews are a required component in the GlobalDoc validation process to ensure translations have been thoroughly checked by an experienced editor before reaching our clients. In addition, our LangXpert® software allows for all projects in validation stage to proceed in accordance with stringent quality assurance guidelines.
GlobalDoc offers assistance for any client-specific validation requirements and helps to implement approval strategies such as the following:
A client may assign an internal subject matter expert (“validator”) to approve and validate text. In this instance, GlobalDoc project managers coordinate workflow between the translator and client-assigned validator
If a client doesn’t have the internal or in-country resources to approve translations, GlobalDoc assigns an experienced second editor for additional quality control.
GlobalDoc helps our clients cultivate a client-approved GlobalDoc validator. Over time, this trusted translator becomes fluent in the client’s product terminology, develops product-specific translation memory, and maintains project glossaries for subsequent requirements and future translator use.
