Assignment:
Help to position the first major corporate marketing communications “Hub” in Bangalore, India, and ensure timely, consistent, brand messaging and translations for Lenovo.

Solution:
GlobalDoc responded to Lenovo with a detailed viable plan as to how GlobalDoc could support this new Lenovo offshore endeavor.  Key to the plan was the GlobalDoc’s commitment to open a new office in Bangalore and staff the office with trained GlobalDoc employees.  Lenovo accepted the GlobalDoc proposal and within 4 months, on June 1, 2007, GlobalDoc India Pvt. Ltd. opened its doors for business. GlobalDoc India supported Lenovo’s new marketing operations in Bangalore by offering high-quality translations, multilingual formatting/DTP, editing/QA, in-country coordination, transcreation, translation memory services, and project management.  In early 2010, GlobalDoc India Pvt. Ltd. received the Lenovo “Most Valued Partner” award as a result of our company’s efforts.
